Expansion of capacity at XL Precision Technologies
XL Precision Technologies are currently in the process of expanding their production capacity, which includes the addition of Femto laser tube cutting. The additional capacity will be available at XL PT from June 2021.
The femto laser tube cutting machine is a ultra short pulse laser, the advantages of this type of laser comes in a total removal of thermal heat in the process compared to Fibre lasers. This removes post cutting debris, micro-cracking, melting effects and surface damage allowing for a better quality final product and reduced post cutting processing.
